I’m proud of my 4.96⭐ rating, but this one really feels unfair.

I have a 4.96 only because somehow I accepted a ride and as i was leaving my house, I noticed Uber thought I had already picked up the passenger. I ended it and issued a refund. The passenger was still able to give me a 1 star rating. I called uber to get it removed and they refused. How can I be rated for a ride that never happened? I don't know how the ride started when I was 3-4 miles away from the rider. Why wouldn't uber remove a ride that I issued a refund for?

Because you ended it instead of canceling it, you should always cancel on those and hit passenger behavior or something that isn't your fault. By ending it and refunding, you admitted fault.Even though it wasn't your fault. Therefore, it was counted as a completed ride and then refunded. They can rate you on any completed ride.

I got 98 five stars my first 200 deliveries and haven't had a single one since and I'm up over 2,000 deliveries it's bs. I would like to know how that percentage could mathematically be realistically possible

Ya don't let it bother you ,I have 300+ rides and I got a 1 star because I asked a big fat girl to roll down her window because she smelled like she just burnt a blunt right before she got in . Left a comment too said I was "Not Polite "

no kidding I’m a driver. If you go to settings and set up pin required Uber can’t start the ride without the customer. I can’t tell you how many times this happen to me until I set up pin required. Haven’t had an issue since. I swear they want to screw with the drivers ratings ect.

t's in the settings. I use a PIN number for every ride. I'm a female and you can never be too careful

It is impossible to start a ride when you use a pin

Plus, how do you think a rider uses a pin? Because the driver needs to use the pen
